The 52" Tiki by Gulf Coast uses a very realistic appearing bamboo housing, complemented perfectly by Antique Bronze trim, and choice between 3 different bamboo blade options. The bamboo design of the motor is actually made of molded resins so that the fan will hold up in outdoor locations without corrosion, like seen with many outdoor ceiling fans. Although all three blade options tend to hold up well if installed in covered outdoor applications, the only set that is outdoor rated is ABS plastic bamboo blade set.
