What sets this in-wall remote apart from models found at most "home improvement" stores is the grounded receiver with built in surge protection. This helps it to typically outlast lesser quality models by 5 times as long.
Use Standard Receiver option for ceiling fan motor sizes 188 x 15mm and less. Use High-End Receiver option for fan motor sizes 188 x 20mm and over.
Not for use with DC motor ceiling fans.
