The 52" Tiki by Gulf Coast uses a very realistic appearing bamboo housing, complemented perfectly by Antique Bronze trim, with oar shape real bamboo blades. The bamboo design of the motor is actually made of molded resins so that the fan will hold up in outdoor locations without corrosion, like seen with many outdoor ceiling fans. Although the fan itself is outdoor rated, the blade choice we are offering with this model is for indoor use. That said, many customers have used these blades outside without issues, and they are replaceable.
