Our Shipping Policy and Expected Delivery Times
We hope you love shopping with us at PalmFanStore. Here is our shipping policy and expected delivery times to help make sure we meet your expectations. If you should need an item sooner than stated here, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Expected Time for Shipment After an Order Is Placed
In most cases we send your order to our main warehouse for processing the same business day your order is placed, providing the order is placed prior to closing hours for that day. If an order is sent in after hours or on weekends, the order will be sent in the next business day. Orders that ship from our warehouse will usually ship within 24 hours.
In some instances your order will be shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse to your delivery address. We do our best to keep our most popular models in stock (including Minka Aire fans) at our warehouse, but due to the vast selection of fans we offer it is nearly impossible to stock every single model. Therefore, we have developed special relationships with the manufacturers so that they will ship directly to our customers. Most manufacture warehouses ask to allow 2 to 3 business days for shipment. Depending upon your location from the warehouse, shipping direct from a manufacturer may save a little time in overall delivery time. Most orders will arrive within 1 week from date of purcahse, but we ask to please allow up to 2 weeks in rare instances, such as tracking down a backordered fan.
Receiving Tracking Information
Once your order is shipped, be on the lookout for an email from a @FedEx.com email address. Whether your order is shipping directly from our warehouse or a manufacturer's warehouse, we request tracking info to be sent directly to your email address. Our own warehouse is very good about always entering your email for the tracking email from FedEx to arrive. However, the sometimes the manufacturers' warehouses aren't always as reliable for entering the required info when creating the shipping label (Casablanca is horrible overlooking this). If you do not have tracking info after three business days, please contact us and we will be happy check and forward the info to you.
Shipping Charges and Free Shipping
Free Shipping applies to all orders above $249.99. We currently offer flat rate shipping at $20 per package for all other order amounts. Usually, our flat rate shipping works to your advantage if your order doesn't qualify for free shipping, because most ceiling fans cost more than that amount to ship. Therefore, you are still receiving a discounted shipping rate.
Shipping Outside of the 48 Continental United States
If your delivery address is not within the Continental US additional shipping charges will apply. We ask that you to call or send email us with your exact shipping address with everything you will be ordering, if you are not within the Continental US, before placing an order so that we can get you a discounted shipping quote. If you do not first contact us for this shipping quote, shipping will be calculated as if shipping within the 48 states. After which we will contact you requesting payment for the extra shipping cost to get the products to your delivery address. To be clear, areas outside of the Continental US include Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and all other areas and countries.
